Founded 2017
Seven years of continuous trading in Nairobi, through market shifts, infrastructure changes, and the adjustments that every city-based business has had to navigate in that period.
We started small, we stayed honest, and we grew because our neighbours told their neighbours.
A family that decided to put its name on the work — literally.
Forgeyastro was founded in Nairobi in 2017 by a tight-knit family who saw a gap in the local market for service providers that combined professional quality with genuine personal accountability. In plain terms: we are a small, family-operated business that takes appointments, runs ongoing service plans, and supplies locally sourced products to households and small businesses across Nairobi. The name goes on every job, and the same people who answer your call are the same people who show up at your door. We currently serve customers across Westlands, Kilimani, Lavington, South B, Eastleigh, Karen, and the Central Business District. Our team of five family members handles scheduling, delivery, and client communication — there is no outsourced support desk and no temporary workers we've never met. In seven years of trading we've completed over 1,400 jobs and maintained a returning-customer rate we're quietly proud of. Our aesthetic is calm and considered — think azure-blue uniforms, clean white materials, and an unhurried manner that tells you we're not rushing your job to get to the next one.
Transparency is the only way we know how to do business.
Our process is simple: you contact us, we agree a time and price in Kenyan Shillings before anything starts, a family member does the work, and we follow up afterward to make sure everything landed the way you expected. We don't use subcontractors, and we don't take on more jobs than we can handle well — which means there are times when our next available slot is two or three days away, and we'll always tell you that upfront rather than overpromising. We value a slow, deliberate approach over a rushed, high-volume one. What we can't control: traffic and Nairobi's unpredictable weather occasionally cause arrival delays, and for product orders, stock from our local suppliers can take an extra day or two during busy periods like December. We'll always communicate delays the moment we know about them. We are not a large-scale logistics or construction firm — our services are personal, bounded, and suited to individuals and small organisations who want a reliable point of contact rather than a call-centre ticket number.
Small team, consistent results.

Every member of the team shares the Forgeyastro name and the accountability that comes with it. No temporary hires, no unknown faces arriving at your address without introduction.
Since 2017, across every major Nairobi suburb we serve. Each job logged, reviewed by a family member, and signed off only when the customer has confirmed they're satisfied.
“What I respect about Forgeyastro is that they told me their next slot was three days away rather than booking me in and then cancelling. That kind of honesty is rare. When they finally came, the work was exactly what they described and the price was exactly what they quoted.”
